Currently Digging Fashion Looks: October/November 2016
I can't believe it's already November 10th! This year has gone by so fast and I'm trying to enjoy what's left of fall, before snow and Christmas are upon us! Here's some of my favorite looks, from various bloggers/models. I've also recently taken my senior pictures, which I can't wait to post about. I had so much fun picking out the jewelry and clothes and different poses/shots. loving this outfit right now from one of my favorite websites, Bloglovin. The coat pairs so well with the hand bag and I love how the neutral colors blend so perfectly. The background scenery is beautiful as well!
Danielle rocking a black dress and boots-I like how simple this outfit is, but it still makes a bold statement:)
Eleanor wearing the new #tommyxgigi collection, which looks amazing so far! This coat is badass and the colors are so pretty!

Clinique Makeup Love Affair + My New Maybelline Foundation!
Today's post is on my endearing love for Clinque. My step-grandmother introduced them to me about a year ago, as she has been using them religiously her whole life. She has always raved about the quality of their makeup, and how it's gentle on sensitive skin and hypoallergenic. Thanks to her impressive collection, she has gifted me with a lot of their makeup products to try. Most recently, she gave me their Take The Day off makeup remover. Lately, I've decided to stop using makeup wipes, as I've found they make my skin dry and red. This makeup oil is much gentler on my skin and keeps it soft and supple. She also gave me another of my favorite mascaras, their high impact one.
This is, hands down, the best mascara I've ever used! It goes on so easily and I never have a problem with it clumping. Literally, I could put it on in the car in a little over a minute! When I'm in a hurry before work or a busy day, this is always my go to! It brightens your eyes and makes your lashes fuller, without any hassle.
I was also out shopping the other day, because I was out of the foundation I usually use. I was a bit irritated when I couldn't find it, where I had stopped at a drug store. I'm not one to change up my routine, as my skin is quite sensitive. Once I've found what works for me, I usually stick to it. So, naturally, I didn't like the idea of buying a different product. But this turned out to be an opportunity to try a new one, which I've found is even better! The past few days I've experimented with Maybelline New York Dream Liquid Mousse Airbrush foundation. It's a shade darker than my normal skin color, so it helps give my skin a bit of color and glow.
Whilst I was browsing the aisles, I also bought some Elf Tinted Moisturizer, which I'm extremely excited about. I've heard models and beauty experts talk about how essential a tinted moisturizer is for sunny days and for making you look tanner. So far my experience with it has proved them right! I needed to try a different one anyway, as the one I was using wasn't right for my skin type. Finally, I also purchased a brush for applying bronzer( from Elf.) This is yet another brush I'm so satisfied with from their range, as it's so nice on your skin and blends makeup perfectly.

Target Handbag, Maybelline Makeup, & My New Hat & Shoes(September+October Favorites)
Fall is here, and I've been having a lot of fun putting together some outfits. I finally invested in a handbag from Target and couldn't be more satisfied with my purchase! I love the golden color and how many different compartments there are to keep things in. For someone who's extremely disorganized, this cute purse has been my savior! It only cost $30.00, which might seem like a lot- but was well worth it the money! I can keep my wallet, makeup, hair-things and even a book or too in this trusty handbag. It's so much easier than trying to cram everything I need with me into a tiny one.
Then there's my new jean-coat from Mudd, which has been my best friend lately with all the rain we've been having. It's comfy but also stylish and can be easily paired with denim jeans or any color of pants and shirt.
Along with this jacket, I've been wearing my new blue hat pretty much non-stop. I got it from Kohls for $15.00, which I think is a pretty good deal. It was lovely to switch things up for a change, since I usually wear my light-brown hat all the time. I'm also looking forward to the colder days of this month, when I can show off my brown beanie. It's quite possibly the comfiest thing I've ever worn on my head! I like wearing it with my trench coat of the same color and these black boots from Marshalls.
Moving on to makeup, I'm currently digging every Maybelline product I can find! I must say, 2nd to Elf, they are my favorite cosmetic line. I've never had a single bad experience when experimenting with their products. Right now, I love their Pumped Up Colassal Mascara. For someone who's always struggled with tiny, thin eyelashes, this mascara is a lifesaver! I've pretty much ditched all my other mascaras and now use this religiously every day. Finally, there's Maybelline's Eyebrow pencil, in dark brown. I'm so happy to say I've discovered the right eyebrow product, that suits me perfectly. After trying out numerous pencils and an ABH dipbrow, it's such a relief to have discovered this one. It fills my sparse,color-less eyebrows in so effortlessly, leaving them looking as nice as if I'd just gotten them waxed.:) It's also easy to touch up, when you're out and about, as you don't need a brush.
List of Products: Hat (Marshalls) from Croft & Barrow $15.00
Black Shoes: Unionbay( also from Marshalls) $25.00
Handbag( Target) $30.00
beanie ($20.00) Target
Jean jacket(Mudd) $20.00
Maybelline Pump Up Colassal Volume Express Mascara $7.00
Maybelline Brow Drama Crayon Pommade( In dark brown) $7.00

Primer Love
Elf Primer( Illuminating & Hydrating) Review: The Elf Primer I experimented with for a month was the illuminating version, which gives your skin a healthy, attractive glow and sets a good background for whichever foundation you use. It keeps it in place so well and is hydrating and soothing to dry, cracked skin. I've recently switched up my routine, since I get bored easily:) and started applying the Hydrating Primer. I use everything possible in a day to keep my skin fresh and soft, since my job involves being in a hot, sweaty setting( not to mention it's still summer!). So, I love how thick and creamy this primer is. It works wonders and keeps my skin looking and feeling smooth and moisturized all day long. I honestly don't know how I survived without primer this long. It's a step I don't skip in my makeup routine, even if I'm feeling lazy that day. It adds color and moisture to my skin and prevents me from having to reapply foundation halfway through my day. #happy #Elf

Beauty Product Faves August 2016
For today's post, I wanted to share the beauty products I'm currently digging. I've been trying out loads of different makeup brands, lotions, and nail ones, as shared in my previous post. I've finally decided on the brands I love most and use almost religiously.
First off, I love the
Deep Steep Blueberry Sugar Scrub: I recently tried out a new body/facial scrub and am very much in love! This blueberry-scented scrub was only $7.88 at T.J. Max and much gentler on my skin than the one I normally use. I'm definitely a convert of it. it smells amazing and makes my skin look and feel soft and glow!
Next, there's Dionis's Goat Milk Hand Cream. I've always fancied hydrangeas and I absolutely love the way they smell! They're so bright and colorful and the overall aroma is so welcoming! So, when I found a hydrangea-scented lotion at Cracker Barrel, I was ecstatic! It only cost a few dollars and emaciates a heavenly smell wherever you wear it! In general, Dionis's products are fabulous quality because goat-milk is supposed to be really good for your skin. It certainly works wonders! This goat-milk lotion comes in a variety of other scents and in bigger bottles as well( I got the smallest one, so I could easily transfer it to work in my purse)You can purchase it at Walmart, Target, or at Cracker Barrel Country Stores( Where I discovered mine).
Sally Hansen Miracle Cure Nail Strengthener. If you're like me, you've probably experienced cracked, discolored or brittle nails at some time or another. My nails have never been super long and white, alas! I'll always be jealous of those girls who are blessed with genetics that allow their nails to look perfect all the time! Also, since I work at a pizza place and I'm constantly breading chicken wings, my nails have taken a turn for the worse! They've been cracked, yellow, and pretty much disgusting! Well, since I've experimented with this, that is no longer a problem! My nails are much stronger and whiter, just in a few weeks of giving them a break from nail polish. I only apply this every two days, as it also gives my nails a very noticeable shine that makes them look prettier. You MUST buy this product if you've had similar issues. It only takes a few days before you start noticing results! SH nail products can be purchased online, or at any Walmart/Target/Sally Hansen store(last one obvious;) )
Elf Makeup Mist & Set: In the summer, I have a serious problem with my makeup running all over because I'm hot and sweaty. I'm usually torn between wanting to look presentable, in spite of the heat but also wanting to feel cool and not hot and gross! The answer to my problem came in the form of Elf's Makeup Mist & Set. This is probably the most affordable, good quality makeup spray I've come across. After doing extensive research, I found that the most highly recommended ones (such as Urban Decay) are also extremely expensive for the average consumer. So I found a good alternative and now; instead of watching my makeup wipe off at work( and me wind up looking hot & red!), I can spritz some of this on and be feeling cooled down in no time. It also gives your foundation a dewy, glowing look. Elf products can be found at any Walmart/Target/Sally Hansen store.
I discovered this wonder worker from the lovely blog "Idle Lane" run by Danielle Peazer.( For more on her, here's a link to my previous post). http://fashioninspiration500.blogspot.com/2016/06/favorite-danielle-peazer-looks.htmlShe wrote a lengthly article on her favorite Sally Hansen products and the ultimate manicure. There is several other SH nail products that you can use to further help keep your nails healthy and in shape. I enjoyed it tremendously and thanks to her, no longer complain about unattractive-looking nails! It also gave me a good amount of knowledge on the best nail gels to use and recommend to a friend!

That's all for now, have a lovely night everyone! Hope you enjoyed this post and if please comment below and tell me what you think!
